Tell it
with care.
Two Dragos is a personal travel journal by Alex and Kristin Drago. We aim to combine entertaining stories with accurate context and photographs that belong to the experience.
Experience and research
A first-person story should be grounded in the hosts' supplied account, trip records and photographs. Researched attractions are identified separately; a recommendation does not imply that we personally visited a place.
We do not invent dialogue, assign individual reactions without a source, or turn an unidentified restaurant photograph into a review. Where dates or details are uncertain, we leave that uncertainty visible or omit unnecessary precision.
Photography
Our first Rome chapter uses photographs supplied from the Drago travel archive. Public derivatives are resized and compressed; the original files are preserved separately. Location metadata is removed from the public images.
Supplemental photography, when used, must have permission or an appropriate license and an accurate credit. We do not present generated destination images as photographs of real experiences.
Tools and assistance
We use AI assistance to organize supplied material, research context, develop writing and build this website. The Rome story is a retrospective based on the trip details and archive supplied by the hosts. Sources are linked where they support historical or practical context.
Commercial relationships
The current Rome collection has no paid placements or affiliate links. Any future commercial relationship affecting an article will be disclosed in that article.
Updates and corrections
Visit dates and publication dates are different. Our Rome photographs date from 2016; current practical information is checked separately and linked to official sources. Important corrections will be noted on the affected page.
